Migraine for health professionals

Health professionals

"Good management of migraine is essential
to the quality of life of sufferers"

Dr David Kernick, GP & Royal College of General Practictioners 'Headache Champion'.

Migraine is widely underdiagnosed and under treated, in both children and adults. One third of sufferers will experience significant disability as a result of their migraines at some stage of their lives. It can be greatly improved by correct management and support, following diagnosis.

The Migraine Trust works with health professionals to improve the diagnosis and management of migraine in primary and secondary care. Support for health professionals is provided through our fact sheets and confidential Information and Enquiry service.
