Policy

There are eight million migraine sufferers in the UK.  The implications of this for Government, the NHS, research bodies and of course, those eight million people, are enormous.

And yet , compared to other health conditions, migraine struggles to be treated seriously.

Here at The Migraine Trust , we work to redress this though our own campaigns, by actively working in Parliament and taking part in campaigns and alliances with other charities.

We particularly work with other members of Headache UK (an alliance of headache and migraine charities), the All Party Parliamentary Group on Primary Headache Disorders, the Neurological Alliance, the Patient's Association and the Health Conditions in Schools Alliance.  We are also active in Europe working with the European Headache Association and the European Headache Federation.  Internationally we work with the International Headache Society.
