Job description and supporting information

The Migraine Trust is the largest charity in the UK dedicated to providing support and information and campaigning for people affected by migraine. We also fund and promote migraine research. We passionately believe that through our work we can transform the lives of those who suffer from this debilitating condition.

We are seeking an accomplished, creative and dynamic communicator to join our growing team at this exciting time: you will work with the Chief Executive to help shape the Trust’s communications strategy and be responsible for developing our proactive and reactive communications through press and PR, social media and the website, ensuring that all opportunities for raising our profile are maximised.

Solid experience and delivery of a variety of communications functions, particularly media relations and digital, is a must. You will have extensive knowledge of the media and of the best ways to use a variety of channels to engage different audiences. You will have outstanding written skills, the ability to juggle a varied workload and an ambition to achieve and evaluate results and drive progress within communications. Experience of management is an advantage. You will thrive in a busy and supportive team that is committed to the highest levels of personal and team performance.
