Studies seeking volunteers
Opportunities for you to take part in research
Our online database of migraine-related clinical trials, patient involvement opportunities and other studies aims to include as many different projects as we are aware of – not only those supported by The Migraine Trust. We maintain this database for the purposes of informing people with migraine of opportunities that they may be interested to volunteer for and to support the advancement of migraine research.
The Migraine Trust includes details of projects on our website for information only and this does not constitute a recommendation. Details for each project are provided by the researchers and The Migraine Trust cannot guarantee the accuracy of information given or statements made. Please read our disclaimer.
Questions about volunteering
If you see a project that you are interested to take part in or would like further information about it, please read the details provided, which might include a downloadable patient information document, and then use the contact details to contact the researchers or project coordinator directly.

Other ways to find out about studies seeking volunteers
If you can’t see a study listed in our database that you are eligible for or it’s not in your local region, your doctor or other healthcare professionals may know of research being carried out that may be right for you. You could also try contacting your local migraine clinic.
Information can also be found on the online registers of clinical trials, such as the UK Clinical Trials Gateway and the World Health Organization’s Clinical Trials Search Portal.
Information for researchers
Researchers or project coordinators that wish to share details of a study for inclusion on our website should use this form to submit the relevant information. The Migraine Trust will use that information to create a listing on our website with a dedicated web link. We may then share that link in our ebulletin, on our Facebook page and our Twitter feed. It is your responsibility to let us know of any changes to information regarding your project, including new contact details, and to let us know when to remove the details from our website, such as when you have recruited enough volunteers or the study ends. We will add projects to our website database and make any edits you request as soon as we can, but please appreciate our other commitments and therefore it is best to give us as much notice as possible.
