The Migraine Trust Reader Panel
The Reader Panel helps us to ensure all our migraine content is informed by people affected by migraine. It helps us to make sure the information is useful, up-to-date and accurate.
What is the reader panel?
Ensuring people affected by migraine are involved in our work is really important to The Migraine Trust. You can join our reader panel to help make sure our information is easy to understand, accurate and useful.
What does the being a member of the panel involve?
By joining the reader panel you can have your say on our content. We will send out a copy of the content we are reviewing and updating. Sometimes it will be existing content, sometimes it will be new content. You may also receive information related to other areas of our work we’d like reviewed.
Alongside the content we will send some key questions to think about such as:
- is the information useful?
- does the structure work?
- is it easy to read?
We will ask you to reply by a set date (we’ll aim to give you at least a week). If you don’t have time or are too busy just let us know.
You send back your feedback to us.
We work through all the feedback and update the information based on what we’ve been told.
We’ll let you know when the final content is ready so you can see how you’ve helped.
Who can join the panel?
You don’t need to have any previous experience of reviewing content. We’ll explain what we want you to do when we send the information to you.
You can do it in your own time from home (or wherever you like). We aim to send 2-3 pieces of content a year (depending on how much information we’re reviewing).
You can say yes or no to different pieces of content based on your availability.
We are looking for:
- People affected by migraine or people with an interest in migraine
- People who live in the UK
- People who have access to email
What’s in it for me?
