Information and Support Services Manager
The Migraine Trust has been providing high-quality, evidence-based information and support to people affected by migraine for nearly 55 years. Over two million people come to us for help every year.
We are now looking for a new Information and Support Services Manager to help us reach even more people, involve more people, and improve more people’s lives.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding team leader, with limitless empathy, creativity and understanding about how to communicate effectively through different media (including digital media) to reach and help people affected by migraine of all ages and backgrounds.
The Migraine Trust has two helpline services so you’ll have lots of experience in delivering a high-quality service to people in need.
We’re also looking for someone to lead our outreach programme, running regional events and workplace workshops to raise much-needed awareness and understanding about migraine.
The Information and Support Services Team also takes the lead in putting people affected by migraine at the heart of our charity’s work, so experience in effective user involvement would be a major plus.
Finally, you will have bags of strategic vision and ambition and be itching to grow our support services to meet what people affected by migraine say they most want and need from our charity in the future. So you’ll need to be able to work in close partnership with our Fundraising and Communications Teams.
You won’t necessarily be a migraine expert already, but you’ll most likely have a background in providing high-quality information or support services to patients or the public. Naturally, we’ll expect you to get up to speed on all things migraine quickly, in part by building positive two-way relationships with key migraine health professionals in primary and secondary care.
